What's on a trade pallet at Ark Tiles
Our trade pallet deals are Larsen building products packed a whole or half pallet at a time. Every listing names the product, the bag size and the number of bags, so you can check an order against your own measurements before you buy. There are two groups:
- Tile adhesive — Larsen Fibreflex, FiberFlex and Trade adhesives in 24-bag half pallets and 48-bag full pallets of 20kg bags.
- Floor preparation — Larsen self-levelling compounds, latex smoothing compounds, screed, repair mortar and bedding concrete, in pallets of 20, 24, 40 or 48 bags depending on the product.
The area figures below come from each product page, at the bed or pour depth that page states. Where a page gives no coverage, we print none.
Half pallet or full pallet?
- A half pallet is 24 bags and a full pallet is 48 bags for every Larsen adhesive here, and for SLC1550 and SLC3015. LLC206 NA and LLC 200 come as 20 or 40 bags. SLC100, SLC1500, SLC2000, SLC2500, Lartex Flo, PrimaDry and Quickset come as 48 bags; Streetscape as 40 bags.
- Weight is bags × bag size: 24 × 20kg = 480kg, 48 × 20kg = 960kg, 48 × 25kg = 1,200kg (maths from the product titles).
- On most lines the full pallet is exactly twice the half-pallet price, so the price per bag is the same either way. Each table shows the pallet price divided by the bag count; that figure is maths, not a separate bag price.
- 24 of the 40 pallets in the tables cost over £499 on their own, so they qualify for free UK delivery over £499; the tables mark which. Most adhesive half pallets do not on their own.
Tile adhesive pallets
Choose by the class printed on the product page (BS EN 12004). In plain terms: C1/C2 is the adhesion class (C2 is the higher one); F means fast-setting; E means extended open time; T means the adhesive passed the standard's vertical slip test for wall tiles (an adhesive property, not a floor slip rating); S1/S2 is deformability, with S2 the more flexible. Self-levelling compound and floor-prep pallets
For most indoor floors before tile, LVT or laminate, Larsen SLC1550 is a single-part compound: BS EN 13813 CT-C25-F7, 3–50mm in one pour (product page). How many bags do you need? Two worked examples
Tile adhesive, 100 m² floor at a 3mm bed — Fibreflex Standard Set+ C2 S1 grey. The product page gives 4–5 m² per 20kg bag at a 3mm bed. 100 ÷ 5 = 20 bags; 100 ÷ 4 = 25 bags. A half pallet (24 bags, £294.91) covers 96–120 m² at that bed, so at the lower figure you would need one more bag (single 20kg bag £12.29, 12 Oct 2026). Thicker beds use more adhesive; check the product page for your tile.
Levelling, 100 m² at 3mm — SLC100. The product page gives approximately 3.6 m² per 20kg bag at 3mm. 100 ÷ 3.6 = 27.8, so 28 bags. SLC100 is sold as a 48-bag pallet only (£489.99), which covers about 172.8 m² at 3mm by the same figure. For SLC1550, use the self-levelling compound buying guide.
