Delivery Information

Welcome to Ark Tiles' Delivery Hub. We aim to provide transparent and straightforward delivery options to ensure your tiles arrive safely and promptly.

Ark Tiles works with third-party logistics providers and manufacturers to deliver products across the UK. While we always aim to provide reliable delivery timeframes, certain elements of delivery remain outside our direct control.

1. Delivery Dates & Estimated Times

• All delivery dates and times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing by Ark Tiles.
• We are unable to guarantee exact delivery times; however, we will make reasonable efforts to obtain estimated delivery windows or ETAs from our logistics partners where available.
• If any changes or delays occur, customers will be notified as soon as Ark Tiles receives updated information.

2. Fast Import Delivery Service

Where a fast import service has been selected and agreed:

The fast import fee provides priority processing and aims to meet an agreed delivery date where operationally possible, subject to confirmation from Ark Tiles and our logistics partners. If a ‘Next Day’ delivery is not possible, Ark Tiles will contact you via given phone / email address to inform the changes, and where agreed a difference can be refunded to alter to a standard delivery status.

• Exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
• A responsible person must be present at the delivery address to accept the delivery on the agreed date.
• If delivery fails due to no one being present, additional charges may apply, including re-delivery fees, return transport costs, storage fees, or handling charges, which will be passed on to the customer.

3. Delivery Attendance, Access & Handover

• Ark Tiles is unable to provide delivery notes or special delivery instructions to courier drivers.
• Drivers may attempt to contact the recipient directly if access is not available or no one is present at the delivery address.
• Deliveries may, at the driver’s discretion, be handed to another responsible individual at or near the premises (for example, a neighbour, site representative, or building manager). This is standard courier practice.
• Proof of delivery including signature and photo evidence may be requested from the courier where available.
• Once delivery has been signed for or photographic proof confirms delivery, responsibility for the goods transfers to the customer.

4. Dispatch Notifications

• Automated dispatch or shipping notifications typically indicate an estimated delivery timeframe of approximately 48 hours from dispatch.
• These notifications are estimates only and do not constitute a guaranteed delivery commitment.

5. Pallet Deliveries

• For palletised deliveries, Ark Tiles and our couriers are unable to remove, collect, or dispose of pallets from the delivery location.
• Responsibility for pallet removal and disposal rests with the customer.

6. Third-Party Carrier Responsibility

• Deliveries are carried out by third-party courier and freight providers.
• Ark Tiles cannot be held responsible for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, port congestion, customs processing, weather conditions, mechanical breakdowns, industrial action, or force majeure events

7. Free Delivery

We offer free delivery on all orders over £499 inc. VAT to UK Mainland addresses.

Please note: Free delivery excludes the Scottish Highlands and offshore islands due to fluctuating courier surcharges. Special order items or those delivered directly from the manufacturer are also exempt.

8. Order Processing & Dispatch

• Order Cut-off Time: Orders placed before 12pm are typically dispatched the same day.
• Delivery Window: Deliveries occur Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 6:00pm, excluding Bank Holidays. On some special occasions, we may be able to accommodate weekend tile deliveries within 10-mile radius within our Coventry Showroom.
• Delivery Method: Orders over 25kg are shipped on a pallet, with the most economical pallet rate applied.

Note: All pallet deliveries are kerbside only. Certain driveway types (e.g., gravel or loose stone) may pose challenges for pump trucks.

Tile orders are typically ready for collection on the same day. Please bring your order confirmation upon arrival. We'll notify you via email/phone when your order is ready for collection

10. Delivery Damages

Upon delivery, please inspect your order:

• Report Damages: Indicate any damages on the delivery note before signing.
• Notify Us: Contact us within 24 hours of delivery for any damages or irregularities with quantity and images to reflect the damages via our email: hello@arktiles.co.uk

We'll arrange for replacement goods to be sent out promptly. While most deliveries arrive undamaged, occasional transit damages can occur. We recommend allowing extra time for your order to arrive, as Ark Tiles cannot be held responsible for additional costs due to delivery delays.

11. Special Order Items

Some products are supplied directly from the manufacturer, allowing us to offer competitive pricing and reduce unnecessary stock movement. These items:

• All QuickStep products qualifies as “Special Orders”.
• Would take 3 to 4 weeks to reach you.
