Large-format porcelain tiles buying guide (UK)

Written by The Ark Tiles team.

Prices checked 3 Oct 2026.

Ark Tiles sells large-format porcelain for indoor floors and walls. Here, large format means both sides are about 600 mm or more: 60×60 cm, 60×90 cm, 60×120 cm, 80×80 cm, 90×90 cm, 100×100 cm, 120×120 cm, and, on some RAK Ceramics products, 120×240 cm, 120×260 cm and 135×305 cm. This page lists 103 products. Prices checked 3 Oct 2026. The price shown runs from £25.91 (Prism Veins, 60×120 cm) to £679.99 (135×305 cm, where that size is sold). That is the price on the product for that size. It is not a per m² price, except four packs in the first table, where the £/m² column is labelled maths. Cut-size samples are free (£0 tile, £4.99 delivery, up to 5 samples). Free UK delivery over £499.

Which size counts as large format

A 60×120 cm tile is 600 × 1200 mm. A 120×120 cm tile is 1200 × 1200 mm. The tables only include sizes where both sides are about 600 mm or more.

Use a large format when you want fewer grout joints on a floor or a wall. The product pages that say "walls and floors" are for indoor walls and floors. This guide does not cover outdoor paving. That range is on outdoor porcelain paving.

Smaller tiles that share a product page (for example 30×60 cm) are not priced here. Open the product if you need that size.

One-size tiles

These are single-size indoor tiles. A dash in the rectified column means that product page does not say rectified. Where the title does not say porcelain, the product text does, and the row says so.

Pack coverage is quoted only where the product text states it. The £/m² figure is the price shown divided by that coverage. It is maths, not a lower price on the page.

Royale Black is on the site at £71.49 and was not available on 3 Oct 2026.

Made-to-order ranges

These 25 designs are sold in more than one large size, or in 60×60 cm with a made-to-order note (Sierra White and Adalia Gold). The product text says made to order and a minimum order of 15 m². It also says rectified. Coverage per box is not printed as a number. The page points you to the size selector. This guide does not calculate a £/m² for them.

24 of these pages say to allow about 10% extra for cuts. Opal White does not say that. Do not apply the 10% line to Opal White.

Opal Coral at 120×120 cm is £171.99. The other 120×120 cm prices in this group are £198.72. Statuario White at 60×120 cm is £66.49, not £70.56.

RAK Ceramics

RAK prices below are the size prices on each product, checked 3 Oct 2026. The product text says rectified, and says the tiles suit interior walls and floors. Calacatta Gold Matt at 60×120 cm is £48.99. Do not replace that with £57.59.

Salone Matt and Salone Polished each come in six colours: Beige, Ivory, Grey, Anthracite, Dark Anthracite and Black. Each 60×60 cm colour is £40.31.

Cemento Night lists 60×60 cm and 60×120 cm only. It does not list 80×80 cm.

Shop the wider RAK grid on RAK Ceramics tiles. Floor and wall grids: floor tiles, wall tiles. Marble-effect and stone-effect grids (not only large format): marble-effect tiles, stone-effect tiles.
